The New GearCam HD-DVR-RM Real Modular
The GearCam HD DVR is a new high definition mobile video device able to capture exciting video and audio from a variety of extreme sports; from Rockets and RC to Snowmobiling, Diving, Dirt Biking, and Skydiving. It is even water proof when you wish it to be. You can view the videos from this extreme sports camera on your computer and even your HDMI DVD/BlueRay players in high definition.
The GearCam DVR can strap on just about anywhere and with its 720p HD resolution camera will record video in beautiful high definition while it hitch hikes a ride on your action vehicle. Easy to install on included holster action mount or even just with duct tape for those times when quick action is needed to capture the moment.
At the size of about 28mm by 4 inches long its about the same size as a F20 EconoJet rocket motor.
It records digital video at 1280x720 High Definition along with audio. The GearCam HD DVR-RM can run for over 2 hours on the built rechargeable battery and stores the data in the Micro-Sd-Card of your choice, up to 32gig in size. (micro sd-card not included)
The GearCam HD-DVR Real Modular allows you to cover or plug the microphone to provide sound surpression that prevents recovery wind noise in your videos while still hearing ignition, boost, ejection, and even the recovery harness and parachute sounds; but without all the annoying loud wind noise.
With its metal armorised case, it is water resistant and can be made water proof for water recovery rockets
You can attach the GearCam DVR to your USB port and download it direct to your PC, Mac, or Linux computer; or just use the sd-card to copy. It weighs about 2.2 oz, 64 grams.
